We are determined to give the children every opportunity to develop their skills in a wide range of sporting activities. Here are our plans for the present year:

During this academic year the school has been allocated additional funding for sports provision in the school.

This money is allocated to partially fund specialist sports coaching, after school clubs and sports equipment .

Links with other schools, both primary and secondary, are being developed.

The children are provided with opportunities to compete in inter school matches and tournaments.

During this year the children will participate in a number of games including Tag Rugby, Dodgeball, Dance, Football, and Athletics.

Swimming:

Pupils in Year 5 and Year 6 also have swimming lessons.

Year 5 & 6 pupils attend swimming lessons which take place every Thursday afternoon at Tottenham Green Leisure Centre. By the end of Year 6, children are expected to:

  • Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
  • Use a range of strokes effectively
  • Perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations
