Handwashing and Hygiene
Parents:
It is incredibly important that we all follow the government guidelines for washing hands and hygiene at the moment. Please talk to your children about the importance of this and follow the expectations below. We have put together a number of resources and videos to help you in explaining this to your children. When we do return to school we will be reinforcing this with the children, but please prepare them by following these videos and by practising washing hands in the meantime.
Washing Hands
We should all be washing our hands more often, especially:
- when we get to work or arrive home
- after we blow our nose, cough or sneeze
- before we eat or handle food
You should wash your hands for 20 seconds, using soap and water or hand sanitiser.
You should also cough or sneeze into tissues before binning them.
