Citizens

Our school is a member of Citizens UK.

Citizens UK organises communities to act together for power, social justice and the common good.

We are looking for parents to join together to make changes in our community.

At the last Coffee Morning we launched St Ignatius Citizens and parents spoke in front of our new Chair of Governors, Lourdes Keever and Michael Pugh the Community Organiser for Citizens in Haringey.

Citizens is all about Doing It For Ourselves, us, together.

Our first meeting was in December 2016 where a group of parents got together and shared issues affecting their lives.

A larger meeting was held in February where more parents shared their stories.

The next step is coming together to make these changes.
