Children from both year 4 classes made the trip the ‘home of cricket’ on Tuesday to watch Middlesex play Yorkshire in an LV Division One County Game. They were very excited to be part of the magical atmosphere that pervades through Lord’s and enjoyed the Middlesex team take a few wickets in the morning session. After a quick lunch the children played a twenty minute game on the Nursery pitches and judging by the noise and fun that they had, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Middlesex went on to win the match, chasing the third largest total for a team batting fourth on a final day’s play at Lords in a county game. Please spend some time looking through the pictures of the day.
