Whoopsy Daisy Angel

The story of Christmas returned once again to St Ignatius on Wednesday morning. This time it was the turn of our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes to perform the ever popular “Whoopsy Daisy Angel.” It is always a difficult feat preparing so many children in such a short space of time for a performance of such scale and they didn’t let us down. The story of the clumsy angel who had a very important message to deliver to the shepherds, was done with sincerity and a touch of fun. The children really enjoyed their performance and shared with their parents and other classes, through the importance of song and drama, the real meaning of Christmas. Thank you children for adding to the buoyant mood we are all beginning to experience as the day finally approaches.
