THE BIG SHARE

The weather held the community came and time was shared. The range of food on offer from the different countries of the world that are represented here at St Ignatius was overwhelming. Many parents cooked enough food to feed vast numbers. There was food from Colombia, Ghana, Gambia, Poland, Eritrea, Ireland, Nigeria, The Caribbean, Romania, Spain and many other nations. People spent time in each others’ company sharing stories and having fun. CAFOD’s message of hunger was discussed by the children in class through their learning. By coming together and celebrating the importance of sharing we are helping the children to understand the plight of many round the world. Please browse through the gallery of pictures and see how much fun was had by everyone.
