Anti-Bullying Week

This week is Anti-Bullying Week. The theme this year is ‘All Different, All Equal’.  Please look at the Anti-Bullying Alliance website for ideas/resources/information etc. I also attach the Primary School packs for you to look through.
This year, Year 5 and 6 will be taking part in some drama workshops run by West End In Schools theatre company looking at the issue of bullying and related themes, these will take place throughout the day on Monday.

On Wednesday 15th November London Citizens will be gathering for a special Housing Assembly with the Deputy Mayor James Murray.

The event is held at Oasis Academy, 75 Westminster Bridge Rd, SE1 7HS. The nearest station is Lambeth North on the Northern Line and is a 22 minute ride on the underground from Seven Sisters.

The evening will run between 6.30-8.30pm and as always with Citizens, we ask that people arrive on time. We would like to invite you to represent St Ignatius School.

Winter Menu Tasting

We were delighted with the amount of parents who turned up for our food tasting event today. Parents were able to sample some dishes from the new Winter menu. The feedback was very positive. We would like all of our children at St Ignatius to have a hot meal each day. If you would like to change your child from packed lunch to school dinners please let the office know. Thank you

Library of Everything

The Library of Everything magically appeared in school. We were so excited and enjoyed Mrs Peabody teaching us about reading. It came to the school because we are trying really hard to read everyday.

5L go to The Tower of London

We have just come back from The Tower of London trip. We learnt about the Battle of Hastings and William I and Harold Godwinson. We felt so privileged to live in a beautiful city.

Thank you for all the Harvest Food!

Dear All,
Thank you so much for your generous donations for our Harvest Festival. We have collected a huge amount for the North London Action for the Homeless who we will be delivering the items to at the end of this week.
One of the volunteers, Mike, is completely overwhelmed by the volume of donations, so WELL DONE ST IGNATIUS!
Thank you for all of your support,
Ms Stapleton
