It is an important mission in catholic schools that we raise the plight of those in the world less fortunate than ourselves. Simple acts of kindness and larger events that help to raise awareness of the difficulties people have to suffer under are all part of teaching the children about the need for a common good.

This term the children helped to raise over £350 for CAFOD (Catholic Fun for Overseas Development) through the event “The Big Share.” Miss Taylor’s class performed a thought provoking assembly that helped the children understand where their money was being sent and how it could help those in need of food and nourishment.

Displayed here is the certificate sent by CAFOD thanking the children for their contribution.
