Brands and Packaging Museum
Year 4 were busy at the ‘Brands and Packaging Museum’ in West London for their class trip. They learned all about putting an advertising feature together and even had time to invent a new chocolate bar!
The history of household packaging down through the ages was all displayed in the ”Time Tunnel” starting back in Victorian times and right up to modern days. The early packaging of products certainly added to the historical theme.
In Year 4 our topic is how do we see? How do we hear? We are learning about vibrations and how sound travels through our ears. We found out that sound comes from vibrations. These vibrations create sound waves which move through mediums such as air and water before reaching our ears.
Our Core Learning Skills
Our Core learning skill this term is “Knowing me, knowing you”. Stiggy has been helping us to remember our I can statements.
Today is World Book Day! The children and staff at St. Ignatius have been celebrating World Book Day with some very imaginative costumes, inspired by characters from their favourite books.read more
