It is that time of year again. We would appreciate if you could donate, coffee, UHT milk, toothpaste, deodorant, shower gel, biscuits, sugar, tinned goods, preserves, beans and pulses to our Harvest display. The display will take place on the 6th October.

Welcome back. We all hope you’ve had a restful break. The children are settling in well and so far have produced some lovely work. We look for to meeting all our new Reception and Nursery children.
We had an amazing time eating strawberries and cream last week. In addition to the fun being had by all we also raised £500! We wish to thank all the parents for their donations and those which helped to prepare for the event. You help was greatly appreciated. Please enjoy the slideshow below.
Trip to Railway Fields We loved our trip to Railway Fields this week. We learnt a lot about animal habitats and learnt about many different types of creatures. We learnt new words such as micro-habitat, predator, producer and consumer.
As a part of Science Club we made a video book review for The Royal Society’s Young Person’s Book Prize 2017. We reviewed the top 6 science books in the UK!
Last week Doctor Loosemore came in to talk to Year 6 about nutrition. During the session the boxer Antony Joshua called to speak to the doctor and he put him on loud speaker. The children were delighted. Doctor Loosemore is from the Active Movement programme. He is a leading doctor in Sports and Nutrition.
